DAY 1: DEPART FROM KAMPALA/ ENTEBBE TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK.
You will depart to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park at around 6:00am and the journey may take approximately 8-10 hours by road. En route, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Ugandan countryside and in the afternoon you will stop over in Mbarara for lunch, offering a taste of traditional Ugandan cuisine. Continue the journey to Bwindi, passing through rolling hills and lush landscapes. You will arrive in Bwindi in the evening check into the accommodation and have dinner featuring the local dishes.

DAY2: GORILLA TRACKING IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK AND BATWA EXPERIENCE.

You will wake up early for a hearty breakfast at the accommodation , do registration and have a detailed briefing on gorilla tracking etiquette and safety. You will begin the gorilla trek accompanied by experienced UWA guides and trek through the dense, misty forest navigating through thick vegetation and steep terrain. Once you locate the gorillas, you will spend up to one hour observing and photographing the gorillas in their natural habitat. In the afternoon you will return to the accommodation for a well deserved lunch and participate in the Batwa forest experience learning about their traditional hunting , gathering techniques , medicinal plants and cultural practices. You will return to the accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.

You will have breakfast and depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey may take approximately 4-5 hours by road. Stop over for lunch in the afternoon, arrive and check in to the accommodation. In the evening you will have dinner and an overnight stay at the accommodation.

DAY 4: GAME DRIVE AND LAUNCH TRIP ON KAZINGA CHANNEL.

Have breakfast at the accommodation and set off for an early morning game drive where you might spot animals like elephants, leopards, large herds of Uganda Kob , buffaloes and numerous bird species. You will return to the accommodation for lunch and brief rest then transfer to the Mweya peninsula for a launch trip along Kazinga channel. This boat cruise offers a unique perspective on the park’s wildlife, with excellent opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, eand an array of birdlife upclose. You will return to the accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY5: NATURE WALK AND DEPARTURE.

You will have breakfast at the accommodation and head out for a guided nature walk and learn about various species of plants and animals. Return to the lodge to freshen up and complete check out procedures then proceed to have lunch and begin the journey back to Kampala/ Entebbe concluding the trip.
